RESUMPTION OF VOLLEYBALL ACTIVITIES

With the country now on Alert Level 3 of the Covid-19 Lockdown Regulations, Provinces and Associate members may resume their respective volleyball activities.

Membership is reminded that resumption of volleyball activities must be in accordance to the stipulations as contained in the “Return to Play” document. In addition, the designated Covid-19 Compliance Officer must ensure that all the Health and Safety Protocols are strictly followed as per the “Return to Play” document.

The following reporting procedures must be followed:

  1. When a Province /Associate member is ready to commence with its activities, the VSA office must be informed accordingly.
  2. When a club or a district is ready to commence with volleyball activities, the province must be informed. The Province must ensure that the club or district has followed all the Health and Safety Protocols. The names and contact details of the Compliance Officers in each case must be lodged with the Provincial Secretariat.
  3. In cases where a player/s or official/s contracts the Covid-19 virus during the resumption of volleyball activities, the respective province must inform the VSA office. Measures taken to contain the spread of the virus must be communicated to the VSA office.
