The National Schools Volleyball tournament held in Cape Town was concluded yesterday. This was a great tourney which came few years after the competitions of that nature were suspended. Indeed, the future looks brighter. Congratulations to all the participants and all the winners. #cantstoptherise🏐

The Volleyball South Africa’s U/19 Inter Provinc

The Volleyball South Africa’s U/19 Inter Provincial Tourney is still going ahead as planned. The tourney is set to take place on the 11th to the 15th of July 2022 in Limpopo (Ngoako Ramathlodi Sports Complex).

We have 6 provinces that confirmed to participate in the tournament as follows; Limpopo, Gauteng, KZN, Free State, Mpumalanga, and Eastern Cape.

Apart from the provinces seeking to emerge victorious and enjoy the IPT’s after a very long time. The tournament will be exposing the players to be selected to be part of the SA team which will participate at the Youth Games which will take place in December at Malawi.

The Games are powered by several sponsors, namely; Boy Mamabolo’s Foundation, Father Mabitsela’s Foundation, Aqua Darshan’s Foundation and Mikasa.

VSA is currently having Beach Volleyball trials in Durban for the U/19 teams. The selected players will represent South Africa at the CAVB - African Continent qualifiers for the U/19 World Beach Volleyball Championships.
