VSA delegation headed by President Anthony Mokoena will meet with the Director-General of Sport, Mr.Alec Moemi on Tuesday, 14 May to apprise the DG of VSA’s final preparations for the 2019 National Volleyball League (NVL). The gala event will be held over four weekends (Friday to Sunday) from mid June to the first weekend in July.

This year’s NVL will include beach volleyball for men and women from the six provinces that have actively participated in the discipline over the years. Provinces that performed consistently well to attain a top four position in the last five years in VSA’s Inter Provincial Tournaments (IPT) in the women’s category have been given the nod to participate in the 2019 NVL. The remaining provinces (both indoor and beach volleyball) will join their counterparts in the 2020 competition.
VSA’s flagship event will be staged at the Kempton Park Indoor Sports Hall. Admission to the venue is free for the public. Volleyball enthusiasts and the public are encouraged to visit the Volleyball South Africa website:
